i think the person who commented about "asian people" needs to research migration in Hawaii and the plantation era...this will explain why we asian, no one gets the choice to say whether or not we want to be asian or not. ~ Kanaka Maoli are disappearing because of this. These locals do this to make money not to connect with there ancestors. They are born and raised to do this because this is what tourist pay for. Only people that perform Native American chants/dances on the mainland are Native or at least part....Would be funny to see a bunch of white or black people acting like Natives : )

I know. I just don't like to see asian-looking "hawaiians" because the hawaiians are polynesians, not asians. Too many japanese, filipinos, and now koreans "invading" that beautiful island paradiese. I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm just saying what I think. When I first arrived in Hawaii in the early 80s, I was so shocked and very disappointed to see so many asians there.
