I want to clear something up. The Ka Mate predates the All Blacks. People here seem to think it came into existence specifically for the All Blacks. That's the case with Kapa O Pango, but not Ka Mate. The Ka Mate is actually a celebration of life and there's nothing wrong with other teams doing it. BYU doing the Kapa O Pango would be somewhat strange, since it mentions the warriors in black and silver fern.

Really? WTF. Rugby started by the British and brought to the island where the Haka was already being practiced by the Maori native.
