The NZ haka is not done for intimidation=, although that is the common misconception to ignorant people like your self but it is actually a war dance which sets out a challenge to the other team and hopes for a good game ahead.

καλα κανουμε φιλαρακι και κοροιδευομε.Οταν χρησιμοποιουν οι Νεο Ζηλανδοι το haka το χρησιμοποιουν για να σπασουν τον τσαμπουκα της αντιπαλης ομαδας.Δεν το κανουν ετσι και καλα επειδη ειναι ο παραδοσιακος χορος τους.Καλα εκαναν οι φιλαθλοι και γιουχαραν.

Non contact sport my ass, tennis is a non-contact sport. This is obviously not as much of a contact sport as rugby or hockey are though.

λαϊκή παράδοση είναι αυτός ο χορός. πάντα πριν έναν αγώνα σε ομαδικά αθλήματα έχουν αυτήν τη συμπεριφορά. δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί το κοροϊδεύετε... έλεος. τουλάχιστον εκεί μέσα στο στάδιο συμπεριφέρθηκαν όπως έπρεπε και τους χειροκρότησαν. στην αρχή βέβαια γιούχαραν πάλι (καφρίλες, έλεος, άλλο εθνικός ύμνος της τουρκίας άλλο ζηλανδικός χορός!). και στο τέλος τους νικήσαμε φυσικά :Ρ

Maybe you havent played basketball before to know its not a non-ctact sport, but when you have a two meter, 110 kilo man elbowing you in the chest and face it feels very much like a contact sport, remember that centre's and power forwards and huge in comparisson to rugby players, karl malone, dennis rodman, shaq, dwight howard, david robinson, those are just afew guys that make a rugby team look like a bunch of midgets, remember that will you..
